With over 30 years in the industry, Anita is the heart and soul behind Malhar’s creative vision. A true believer that “the devil is in the detail,” she brings relentless energy, a hands-on approach, and an instinctive eye for design to everything she does. Never one to shy away from a new challenge, she’s played a key role in growing the business while nurturing the people within it — always leading with warmth, precision, and a deep-rooted passion for her craft.
Off the floor, Anita is a dedicated Iyengar yoga practitioner, bringing its philosophy of harmony and alignment into both life and work. She has a love for travel, a taste for global cuisines, a green thumb that could rival any botanist’s, and a keen interest in the art of Ikebana — her personal creative outlet.

At Karigari, she partners with leading fashion houses to transform ideas into hand-stitched masterpieces — each piece a blend of tradition, texture, and innovation. Whether she’s reviving age-old techniques or pioneering new embroidery languages, Meghna thrives on pushing the boundaries of craftsmanship.
Outside the studio, you will find her spending time in nature, dishing out warm cinnamon rolls or immersing in Nada Yoga!
